GOOGLE ADWORDS ACES

OVERVIEW

Google Adwords is a complex application that is not always easy to articulate. Calling an AdWords expert for every small question felt daunting. There were currently very limited places to find answers like YouTube but no dedicated channel or look and feel for it. There was a need to have one centralized place to go to for answers. 

 To alleviate customer frustration, a centralized AdWords microsite was created. 

I created a neighborhood friend, a Googler who is an "AdWords Ace."  They are intelligent, articulate and welcoming. They can answer any question you may have around AdWords. Then, no matter where you are in your users experience, your AdWords Ace is there for you. Your assigned Ace could then be right in your back pocket, and being seen throughout the customers journey. There in helpful places such as; Real-Time Chats, YouTube channels, personalized emails, social platforms and text notifications for real-time performance tips. Now small businesses can get to the root of their SEO questions more quickly, and go back to running their business.

YOUR ADWORDS ACES

"AdWords Aces" are a global group of personas who represent  AdWords customer service representatives (CSR's) around the world. They specialize in helping local small-businesses. They are friendly personalized troubleshooters for all things AdWords related. AdWords Aces simplify complexities. They are an easy-to-understand wealth of information. 

A FUN WAY TO LEARN

By bringing the gamification to the home page, users felt compelled to flip the card to see the answer. This also kept users coming back for reward points and discounts towards their next Ad purchase. This also where you are introduced to AdWords Aces and begin to see their individual personalities come to life.

PERSONALIZED,
DATA-DRIVEN EMAILS

After signing up for AdWords. Your assigned AdWords Ace, Katie, sends a personalized email about how you can improve your SEO optimization. She accompanies you in every step of your user experience. By using data-driven API, we are able to bring predictive insights to the user

IN-APP ANSWERS

For instance, upon logging in, you have a question on how to improve on your keyword optimization. Katie is waiting to help, using an AI, Katie comes to life with her voice and and friendly tone. She's like an old friend ready fill you in on the latest.
She describes how customers similar to your business are doing and how to best strategize on keywords for maximum results.

HOW TO VIDEOS

Feeling like you still need some more help? This YouTube channel can also be seen through the microsite. The look and feel of all the videos are consistent and have a more organized look with consistent illustrations.

 

The useful videos are very in-depth and can answer the most basic FAQs, or even the more specific questions for localized regions.
